Krista is a multi-disciplined, digital travel innovator and entrepreneur. She draws on more than twenty years of executive leadership experience in the travel industry, from startups to publicly traded companies, including her role as Global Director and Head of Travel at Bing, a Microsoft Company where she led the commercial team, evangelism and strategy. She has led and scaled global teams in sales and BD, marketing + customer acquisition. Most recently, Krista joined Lola.com where she oversees the company’s business development and distribution strategy.
Prior to Lola.com she was the COO of DuVine Cycling + Adventure responsible for the overall day-to-day management and growth of the company. Krista was an executive team member of the startup teams Farecast acquired by Microsoft and SmarterTravel which was acquired by TripAdvisor. She also led digital travel at the New York Times after selling her company FareChase, the first travel metasearch company to Yahoo! Krista was coined the first “Internet Travel Analyst” in 1999 and from that point on has been deeply immersed in the travel industry. Her focus has been on the intersection of growth opportunity, travel disruption, technology, search, and customer experience.
Krista currently invests and advises early stage Internet companies and sits on several travel boards.
Dakota leads a cross-functional business and growth team and is responsible for aligning user growth with supply growth and business interests at Hopper. He plays a central role in developing the company’s product development roadmap and setting the company’s focus areas. Dakota directs growth, revenue and business strategies for Hopper as the company aims to grow sales and headcount +100% YoY. Under his leadership, Hopper has become one of the fastest growing travel apps ever with over 35 million installs and 100 million trips planned on the app. Prior to joining Hopper, Dakota was working in the online travel space in Hong Kong.
Ajay Sharma is an Investor with JetBlue Technology Ventures, where he focuses on early stage consumer and enterprise technologies. His primary investment themes include the use of big-data and machine learning to transform consumer and enterprise business applications, the revolution of aircraft maintenance and operations and the evolving regional transportation ecosystem. Prior to joining JetBlue Technology Ventures, Ajay managed early and growth stage investments at Compound Ventures, Bregal Sagemount and Lightview Capital. Before beginning his career in venture capital, Ajay worked at BlackRock in risk management and leveraged finance. Ajay received his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Rashesh Jethi leads the engineering teams in North America responsible for developing and maintaining core technology and also the global team driving innovation for our Airline customers.
Rashesh joined Amadeus in 2015 with a strong and diverse background that includes leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Virgin Mobile and Wells Fargo Bank, serving as the founding CTO of Visage Mobile and building decision support systems for Lufthansa and American Airlines.
Rashesh holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama and an executive education program certification from the London Business School. He is a speaker, author and visiting faculty member for numerous technology topics, and holds a patent in the area of multi-tenant mobile platforms.
